My professional background is in domestic/sexual violence and family dysfunction. My training centers around treating developmental and complex trauma. I partner with local victim advocacy organizations (CAPS and DVACK) to provide therapy to survivors of abuse. I am most comfortable treating PTSD and anxiety-related disorders in individauls and families of all ages. I am a Kansas Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, awarded Excellence in Mastery of Social Work by Newman University. I also hold a Bachelor's in Communication Studies and Minor in Peace Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College. As a lifelong learner, I am committed to finding the best interventions for each client. I am trained in various techniques and theories, such as EMDR, sandtray, play therapy, trauma-focused CBT, Havening Techniques, and parts work.
